Mission Statement

Mermaids, hotrods, rock stars, space cadettes, and cowgirls are visual symbols of a suburban 1960's childhood. My paintings combine these pop culture themes and graphics with snapshots of striking people that I meet. I often scour flea markets and junk shops finding artifacts that rekindle this past visual fire. The mixing up of this couldron of influences, and looking for inner light to celebrate my subject's beauty. The juxtaposition of hand lettering, graphics, and retro flavors act as a testament to the beautiful circle of past and present.
